Al is a mama’s boy. Spoiled, enabled and pampered. Seeing his mom straighten his tie was the first of many red flags. Can’t cook, do laundry or clean his messes. Can’t do, won’t do. As Joan Rivers said “Oh, grow up!”

Al is such an egocentric self obsessed man-child, and he’s not even all that. He wants an independent, capable, self sufficient partner, when he can’t even cook or do anything himself, not even tuck in his own damn shirt?? Poor Sam definitely drew the short straw

I couldn’t imagine anyone having the misfortune of being paired up with Al. Of course , he hasn’t ever been love, the only person who would ever be good enough is himself. I think he’s one of the most vain and conceited people I’ve ever seen on television, but he’s not even that good looking. He’s too boyish and is slightly buck-toothed. He’d probably have been a hit in high school, but as a grown man he’s just not rugged or mature-looking enough. I think it’s going to be really interesting to see how his personality evolves on the show.
