I worked in a bank in South Africa for 8 years. I’ve been involved in multiple robberies, and it’s extremely violent. They start shooting first, then ask questions later. Once our key holders were followed home, kidnapped, and their families were held hostage. One lady had petrol poured over her and said if she doesn’t give the money, they’ll set her on fire. Once we were stripped and forced into the safe. I later became a trauma counsellor to help people recover from these events, and those suffering from PTSD because of it.
