Video Description
Mount Martha. This is a luxury house on a new estate, but nobody is buying. If Lisa and her husband Jamie don’t sell the house, they will be bankrupt. The Evans family have had more than their fair share of bad luck. Lisa has beaten two bouts of breast cancer and a divorce has left her with a mountain of legal bills. The house may be luxurious, however it lacks soul. The stark white interior has precious little furniture and the backyard is a desolate wasteland. I completely agree with what he was saying about talking to your lenders, I am not sure how it works in Australia, but when my husband had emergency open heart surgery, and it was clear we may have problems with our mortgage payments, I quickly phoned our credit union (it’s like a bank) and made an appointment to speak with them about our situation, it was the best thing I did, I didn’t remember that when we opened our mortgage we also purchased mortgage insurance,the credit union helped me manage everything ,and it was a blessing! Okay, I am sorry, but the house he showed them as comparison, in my opinion, is ugly! I would never buy that house , it’s going to cost a fortune to repaint every room and hallway, those colors are awful. I never noticed the first time I watched this episode.
