The kitchen in Elles house was nice…but…the slide out cook top is ridiculous. Its sits right above the oven. When you are baking AND cooking on the stove, there is no way to get the items baking in the oven out without taking what’s cooking on the cook top off and pushing it in to access the oven. Not to mention, when using to cook top, it juts out into the space and can be bumped into. Just not something I would ever do unless its on an end wall with nothing but storage underneath. The 16 yr old bathroom is impractical being that there’s privacy and he can walk in the bathroom while one of his siblings is on the toilet also there’s definitely a noise factor. The judges scored it too high. The brothers kitchen looked great except for the invisible cook top (epic fail) and the round dining table. They also were scored too high. Overall this knockoff version of “HOUSE RULES” is OK but not as exciting or entertaining so far.
