Why can’t the lifeguards rope off and completely close backpacker’s R.I.P, when it’s beyond dangerous, no one I mean absolutely no one ever listens to the lifeguards warnings ever, they should have the right to shut it down!

They should pass a Law that clearly states that all children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent in the water with them and can only be between the flags or pay fines! That mother didn’t even know where her two little daughters were! We have five children and I promise you they were Never in the water alone whether we were at our local state park swimming or done at Rodanthe North Carolina Outer Banks here in America.
