Dean and Shay have a game changing idea for their apartment. The girls use their best assets to get the job done. Whitney finds something lurking in her new toilet.

Five new teams meet The Block for the first time. They are given a 24 hour challenge to make over a room where the winner gets to decide what floor they will live on and renovate for the next 12 weeks.

Tonight delivers bathrooms like you have never seen before on The Block and one team will win the $10K. Caro and Kingi have a shattering problem with their bathroom while Shay is feeling the pressure of having the penthouse.

Walls are coming down and while Suzi and Vonni smash their demo, Andrew struggles to work the sledgy. Scott and Shelley visit the teams and we find out one team has spent over $40,000 on their bathroom so far.

Fresh bathroom ideas are flowing for our teams – there’s a glass bath, a graffiti bath and a new waterproofing system. The girls work their charms to win crane time while Kingi tries to win over the Block architect.

Our judges see the 24 hour challenge rooms, score each team and decide the pecking order. The teams move into their floors and begin their first weekly room…the main ensuite.
