The Block – Season 11

Its all about budgets. Scotty checks the books of all five teams, discovers some alarming results and takes drastic action. Andrew takes on some construction work and upsets Keith and Dan.

Living room week begins and its a worrying start for one team who don’t have any plans for their room. Scotty makes an announcement that changes the game for all the contestants.

The teams hand over their studies, powder rooms and laundries to the judges tonight. Its been a huge week of renovating and Neale, Shaynna and Darren are unanimous as the winning team receives high scores for their designer look.

The teams take on their second challenge. They must come up with a cafe concept prototype, and set it up in a shipping container. Special guest judges designers Colin and Justin, from the UK, award the challenge winners $10,000 cash towards their renovation.

Andrew enjoys a sleep-in and is in trouble with Keith. He and Whitney struggle to keep up with their building schedule. An argument between Whitney and Suzi gets personal and Ebony steps in to calm things down.

Tonight it’s the start of the biggest week so far on The Blocktagon. Each team begins work on their study, guest powder room and laundry. The work load is too much for some and tempers fray as all the teams are forced to help one team clean up their work site.

It’s the race to finish the final guest bedrooms and ensuites and the judges are impressed that all five teams hand over completed rooms. There is just half a point between first and second place and the winning team takes home $10,000 cash.

Vonni takes a tumble down the stairs and has to go to hospital for tests on her injured knee. The challenge bed heads arrive. Dean and Shay are planning a game changing move and are faced with the challenge of re-designing their floor plan.

There are budget blow outs and disagreements as Keith and Dan crack down on tradesmen and contestants. Andrew and Whitney work harder than ever in an effort to stay on track with their new building schedule.

Judges Neale and Darren offer their design advice over brunch. One team is faced with builders wanting to quit. Work begins on guest bedrooms and ensuites. The contestants must incorporate the timber bed heads they made in last week’s challenge.
