So happy for Leah and Ash! They really deserved the win. I believe their home will do great at auction. My only dislike was the amount of time spent on the loss of their dog vs Gian’s loss of his grandfather. Yes, it’s a family pet and their children will be devastated but does not exceed the loss of a grandparent.
The judges were on a downer for house 1 from the get go. Every year they have their favourites. I think it’s about time they didn’t know who had which house until they have all been finished. Judge as a house and not as individuals.
The outcome didn’t bother me at all. Even villains can win sometimes, it’s winning the auction that’s the best prize and that can be anyone.
Well said Patrick. Pearl and Rosemary are really forgiving ppl. I think the highlights of what Leah and Ash said about the others have to be replayed.
My comment was more directed towards the work they did on their home rather than their actions although I believe Leah recognized she was acting badly and made a genuine effort to mend her ways, whereas Kristy did not. And Brett was just lazy. They could have had way more money if he stepped it up. And I do try to be forgiving.
I don’t know why judges are obsessed with house 2 this is the least favorite house among 5 didn’t like the furniture and styling so not well deserved win
Watching from South Africa yes the judges have favourites. Stephs front yard was better. The judges comments dont match their a scores. Disappointing, series spoilt by judges
So stupid. Judges are judging what contestants did or the program crew? They talked and talked about fences, cars, façades,… And the scores really showed that
