I don’t think its about faith at all. Baby will never let any woman near Wesley, and he has been fostered this way by her. He could not even stand up for Brea or himself! Good luck spending you rest of your life with step mum, Wes! Brea will find her person elsewhere.

Wes is just trying to stick to his Christian principles of no sex before marriage. This would be difficult for nonbelievers to understand. Brae’s self worth is based on sex as she states that she would feel worthless if she is not intimate with a man? Now that is a problem Brae. The therapist misled her by telling her about compromise. There are certain things where you can’t or shouldn’t compromise on as a believer.
