I CAN’T believe that on Survivor or Australian Survivor that after a challenge, when people are COVERED in MUD or SAND they don’t take a quick dip in the ocean… WHO would want to eat with their face and hands and whole body covered in mud and sand and sweat? It would only take a minute.
The producers do not allow the players to wash right away – because they want them to look ragged and claim “that’s how they do it on Survivor!” and that it’s the image of a rough game.
Yes – the mud is 90% gratuitous.
