I have definitely experienced the difference between recognizing someone as attractive, and being attracted to them myself. Kara doesn’t understand this. He might think she is physically beautiful but he could be turned off by some other quality. Or it could just be a put down, since she’s resisted his advances. She made up her mind about him a long time ago, and she may be right.
