I feel bad for Paul. He had a legitimate concern about Carina’s tendency to be judgmental. Because he did not address it directly with Carina, he comes off as the bad guy. Did Carina spend any time considering that she might be, indeed, judgmental?
I agree with you and the judges! He should have addressed this with her first. But maybe she is a giant crybaby and that is an “ick” he still isn’t sure he can live with. Unfortunately no one is perfect, but I think Carina could be less of a baby with coaching from a caring partner – and likewise he could have more backbone in saying hey – I really like you but it weirds me out when you make judgements like you do!
As usual – the experts choose the weirdest times/people to come down hard on.
He had other examples, like the restaurant, etc. Now he is painted out to be the bad guy, he didn’t know that letter would be shared with her, and he was being honest about his concerns. Maybe he could’ve left Cleo out of it, but that was just one example.
Yes, he definitely should NOT have mentioned the comment about Cleo. Like who freakin does that to your partner?! What the actual F. That’s a petty high school mean girl thing to do. 100%
Wait a second. Wasn’t it the judges who skewered people because of comments they made to their partners IN PRIVATE? Wasn’t everything thought or even, perish the thought, said in private “fair game”? I recall an incident (but I don’t recall the names of the couple, now gone) when the husband made derogatory comments about the other wives when ordering the pictures and the wife went to another couple and relayed them. I’m currently watching the series, and it’s so obvious how hypocritical the experts are. Apparently, it’s only the men they go after full force, while they’re way too soft on the women. They especially go after Paul a lot, and it’s just disgusting.

I want to see Billy and Dave on the Block, plasterer and a builder.
I think Jamie is too much for Dave and he’s just now realizing it. You can’t fake the feelings and her being in his face about it only validates his issues.
I agree though I really do hope they’ll somehow make it. Jamie seems so authentic. Dave can’t handle it, you’re right.

Where is the smoke for Carrina? The judges seem to protect Carina at all costs. Paul wanted to air her out for that and I don’t blame him. They seem very emotionally unstable for long term. IMO
Paul is like a paper doll, a very pretty facade but there’s absolutely nothing inside. No personality, zilch, nada…

As a survivor of life with a Narcisstic Sociopath, Eliott is a classic example of just that. Look up every example of a Sociopath, and he has been all of them.
Ryan would be crazy to stay with Jacqui! Her personality is SPLIT and we watch the psychotic switch in real time!

They certainly have never showed us any footage of Elliot telling Veronica “You think you’re pretty smart. Don’t you?”. The Producers would have definitely put that in, if there was.
I am not an Elliot fan after his behaviour earlier on in the show. But he has been more earnest and open than Veronica.

I disagree with the experts raking Paul over the coals. Paul was fundemantally expressing that his values don’t align with Carina’s. He not only took issue with the mean sprited comment, but her judgemental and possibly biased mindset. He doesn’t want to be with someone who thinks or acts that way. I wished they had dug deeper into why she expressed those specific sentiments, why use those words and where is that ire coming from in her. This situations is no different than when Ashley let everyone know about Jake’s comments to the women. The larger issue was with Jake.… Read more »
