Alyssa is playing such a victim. Having a child doesn’t mean your life stops. There are also lots of amazing step dads, and I know Duncan will be one of them. She’s been trying to sabotage their relationship from Day Dot. She’s trying to push him away, so he breaks the relationship, so she can still be the crying, emotionally scarred victim. She needs to get her priorities right. If her mothering leaves no room to be a wife, then she should wait until her son grows up to start dating.
That’s what I did. Was a single mother for years. If I did date, I got a sitter for my daughter. We both grew as independent, strong women. It’s all about how you conduct yourself. Alyssa uses motherhood to play the victim. She’s pathetic as a woman and a mother. Her poor son!
I am really concerned for the child she is supposedly raising. If she doesn’t get help soon not only will she never have a lasting relationship but she will also damage her child’s mental health.
If her son was that much of a priority she wouldn’t have gone on the show. She’s using him as a cop out and deserves to be by herself.

I can understand how Lyndal feels. She needs confirmation and reassurance of Cam’s feelings and their relationship, and she’s not getting that. My husband is extremely affectionate. He would tell me he loves me 20x a day. He would constantly hug and kiss me. I do reciprocate, but I hardly ever initiate. I didn’t grow up with a lot of affection, so it is strange to me. Luckily he understands and he shows enough affection for the both of us.
She needs to run. If he’s that stingy with a kiss, this marriage is doomed.

I don’t understand why he doesn’t want to hug, kiss and cuddle her every chance he gets. I remember when my husband and I were first together, we couldn’t get enough of each other. It wasn’t a question of having to ask for affection, it was spontaneous. Has he grown up without being shown any kind of affection? Does he think that’s normal? Of course , she’s going to feel emotionally deprived. His way of behaving is not normal for a young couple in a relationship.

There’s something very wrong with her way of thinking. So the only time she’ll spend with him is when her child isn’t around? When would they ever be a family if he was never interacting with her child? She makes absolutely zero sense and throws up barriers every chance she get. Duncan needs to run for the hills. The scene with Alyssa and her friends pissed me off so badly I had to actually comment something. She’s committed as fuck to sabotaging this! Why wait till the last minute to let Duncan know he’ll only see you every other weekend and on Wenesday’s? Her friends were absolutely briefed prior to the meetup of what Alyssa wanted them to do and say. If I was her “friend” I would slap her and tell her to open her eyes! He’s such a catch. Look how clean his house was!

I don’t understand what either of them were talking about when they spoke of all the good times they had together. How did we miss those? All I saw was her frustrating him by completely misinterpreting everything he said, taking offense, and turning it around to where she became the victim. She’s completely incapable of seeing things from his point of view, and if there were fun times between them, I must have blinked, because I missed them.
I think he suddenly got afraid because of her health issues. He saw his mate go through the pain and even though she talks about the miracle pills…I think he’s afraid he’s going to lose her sooner than she says. He’s I pushing her away on purpose because he doesn’t want to fall in love and lose her to an early death. That’s what I believe.
