Temika’s exchange program sees her face challenging situations and the annual lifeguard ironman challenge goes wrong for one lifeguard.

Australia Day brings all shapes, sizes, colours and creeds to Bondi’s shores. But while it’s a party for most, celebrations turn sour for others.

Young trainee Temika Wright from Coffs Harbour is hoping to learn how it’s done on the world’s busiest beach. Her first day is a Saturday when the tower is overrun by blue bottle victims.

As temperatures reach 33 degrees, swimmers refuse to obey lifeguards and swim at their own peril.

The team deal with a 3 pronged onslaught; a British tourist with a dislocated shoulder, a Sydney events organiser with a suspected spinal injury, and a flurry of people stung by blue bottles.

It’s Christmas day on Bondi and Santa make an appearance. Maxy tries his hand at cooking a turkey and a chinese tourist is dragged from the water barely conscious.
