Michael is obviously not taking his repeated mistake seriously and it’s sad to see that Stacey fell for the ‘homecooked’ meal. Like that just shows his lack of respect towards her and her emotions. Doing things lazily to ‘get out of trouble’ instead of actually having a grown up chat with her and thinking about why the hell he is getting so drunk to the point of being an asshole to his wife in his 30-ies.
