What happened to MKR? The casting was dull, the drama nonexistent and the cooking uninspired. Is this the last season? Maybe it was filmed post-lockdown as it comes across half-baked (pun intended).
the same show producers shelved Apartment Rules, their version of The Block, and one can only think MKR is going the same way. Not even the domestic goddess herself can breathe life into this dud. Sad as it was so watchable a few seasons back.

I kind of agree in the sense of the dullness; however, I think that what is happening is that this series is so much shorter than the original ones. Pete and Manu would visit so many homes and more contestants were always coming in plus, when at the MKR kitchen, the competition was longer and lasted more days than now. I recall they would air something like 3 or 4 days a week. I agree. the reason why this feels “dull” compared to previous seasons is because we haven’t been given a chance to get to know the characters that are a part of the show. They brought in Claudeane and Chris to make it interesting and stir the pot but what made it more interesting before is that the drama that was on previous seasons were not forced like it is now. They brought on controversial personalities to speed up the process of drama and that’s why it feels forced and less personable. I used to love this show and it’s sad… Read more »

The judges always say “don’t change anything”. People keep doing the wrong thing. Do it like you would do it at home. Don’t change things.
