OMG! For such luxurious houses with gorgeous views, this year’s contestants don’t really have style. The style this year is far from being luxurious, and you’d think after 5 weeks of being in the block some would have improved, but NO. It’s so sad and annoying
I think the memo for “quiet luxury” is making it really difficult. “Light, bright neutrals” makes every house so similar. It’s very difficult to express themselves with that bland mandate
I agree, but even the judges don’t want quiet luxury because anytime they see a pop of color they love it. I was just surprised that some many contestants placed the furniture facing away from the view. Anyone who has watched the block knows better!
I get the theme, but my chat is these contestants are not even trying; there’s nothing that screams luxury with their choices. What happened to contestants trusting their instincts and doing what THEY want regardless of what the judges say? Moreover, why are they not doing their research?
