Video Description Grand Finale. Two contestants have successfully reached the end of the competition. Who will take home the grand prize of $250,000? First Broadcast: Tue, Aug 12, 2025
Laura was always going to win from day 1, I 100% reckon the judges had it all worked out otherwise why would she leave her very young daughter for so long not to be told she’s basically already won it ????
Lol Laura wasn’t the only contestant to leave family behind. These two also both came in second so whoever won would have been a great story. I doubt they put all the others through this just so Laura would win.
Yeah they did but not a young baby, wouldn’t surprise me reality tv these days are very much set up to try and get audience numbers

Absolutely phenomenal! Totally fair, and the best person won. Backed them both, but Laura smashed it out of the park. That pressure test was killer! And she stood on business. What a season.

SPOILER ALERT.
I swear Laura could spit on a plate and they would give her 10s. They made it obvious from the start that she would be this season’s winner. I think she is an amazing chef, but the judges’ insistence on making the finale a tie after the first round, after she submitted an obviously less impressive dish, told me everything I needed to know.

This finale was pure BS! It is such an obvioux bias!! I am really upset. It was even noticeable in the editing of the episode. Only focusing on Laura.
What a letdown. BLAH!

Marvellous from beginning to end Laura definitely deserved to win. But Callum was a very very close second.. thank you Andy and Co for another lovely enjoyable Australia MasterChef can’t wait for the next one. Don’t worry, you can’t please anybody. ex-Aussie watching from the UK❤️
